Sites open Friday 8 a.m.–7:30 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m.–3 p.m.
Eligible Wake County voters have two more days to cast their ballots at any of the three available Early Voting sites. Visit WakeVotesEarly.com for an interactive map to the nearest site, full schedule, details about each site, a current wait time tracker and more.
“Early Voting offers voters the flexibility to choose from multiple locations to cast their vote this Friday or Saturday,” said Wake County Board of Elections Director Olivia McCall. “It’s a great option for those facing challenges reaching their polling place on Election Day.”
Early Voting sites are open during the following hours:
- Friday, May 10, from 8 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, May 11, from 8 a.m.–3 p.m.

The two candidates receiving the most votes in the March Republican Primary for N.C. Lieutenant Governor, N.C. Auditor and U.S. House of Representatives District 13 now face each other in the Second Primary for the nomination.
Voters affiliated with the Republican Party and unaffiliated voters who voted in the Republican Primary or did not vote in March are eligible to vote in the Second Primary. The candidate list, sample ballots and other information can be found at wake.gov/upcomingelection.
By law, a second primary is a continuation of the first, and new voter registrations and party affiliation updates received after the Feb. 9 deadline will not be processed until after the Canvass Board meeting on May 24. This remains true during the current Early Voting period, and same-day registration is, therefore, not available.
