Wake County Planning, Development & Inspections serves areas in Wake County outside municipalities' planning jurisdictions, and provides planning, advisory and technical assistance to local jurisdictions, community groups and other organizations. Additionally, the department provides building inspections and permitting services for the towns of Knightdale, Rolesville, Wendell and Zebulon.
