Wood, drywall, shingles, carpet, tiles. No concrete or pavers. Homeowners only. Contractors and tenants refer to Resources page for list of private Construction and Demolition Landfills.

Food scraps and leftovers; fruits and vegetables, tea leaves, coffee grounds, baked goods, eggs and dairy, cooked meats, pizza boxes, paper towels and paper plates. NO raw meat. No food packaging.

Household trash and furniture. Items under 8 feet long or wide.

Wake County residents only. Two (2) mattresses per day. Additional mattresses may be brought to the shredder at the South Wake Landfill for a processing fee of $10 per mattress.

Metal: food and drink cans. Glass: bottles and jars. Mixed paper: paperboard, food and beverage cartons, junk mail, newspapers, phone books and magazines (no shredded paper). Plastic: bottles, jugs, jars and tubs (caps on, no foam). Keep loose, DO NOT BAG.
