This 150-acre property known as “286,” located between Umstead State Park and Lake Crabtree County Park, is being leased by Wake County Parks, Recreation and Open Space as of Jan. 1, 2023. Master planning on trails will take place soon. Until then, trails will follow the same closure system as Lake Crabtree County Park. Users can call 919-460-3390 or visit trianglemtb.com for updates.

Please adhere to the following rules to ensure a safe experience for all trail users:

• Stay on leased property by obeying posted signage.
• Trails outside this area are RDU private property and NOT open to the public.
• Stay on the trail.
• Wear a helmet when biking.
• Do NOT alter the trails or modify features.
• Do NOT use wet trails.
• Trail use is allowed from 8 a.m. to sunset.
   

Please note that some areas may be closed temporarily due to construction, maintenance or to remove nonpermitted footbridges and structures.
