Join us at Crowder County Park for Tails and Trails to show off your paw-some pal or find a new fur-ever friend at this fun-filled event. Dress your dogs in adorable costumes and witness their impressive tricks in our contests. Don't miss our optional photo stations, face painting, games, and an exciting obstacle course with dog professionals on site. Mingle with adoptable dogs from local dog rescue organizations. Together, let's make a difference by giving these deserving animals a chance at a forever home.

Schedule of Events

  • 11 a.m. Stop by the registration table to grab an event map.
  • 11:15 a.m. Welcome and Opening Ceremony (main stage area)
  • 11:45 a.m.–12:30 p.m.: Costume Contest for Dogs (main stage area)
  • 12:45–1:30 p.m.: Trick Contest for Dogs (main stage area)
  • 1:45–2 p.m.: Final Announcement (main stage area)

Meet Adoptable Dogs

  • Meet adoptable dogs from local dog rescue organizations.

Agility Course Area

  • Our agility course is available for you and your dog to enjoy at your leisure.
  • Test your pup's agility, speed and obedience.
  • Feel free to use it multiple times or watch others showcase their dogs' skills.

Dog Art Station

  • Whether you're waiting for a contest or just in the mood to get creative, our art station is here for you.
  • Join us for face painting and decorating your own paw-print dog bandana.
  • Supplies provided – unleash your artistic side!

Doggie Games Extravaganza

  • Our doggie games area remains open for more fun!
  • Join in on games like cornhole, life-sized chess, lawn bowling, and having your dog bob for tennis balls.
  • Compete or play just for fun. It's all about having a blast with your furry friends.

Photo Stations

  • A variety of dog-themed cut-outs will be placed throughout the event and offer the opportunity to get Tails and Trails event photos.
